Well, must admit I haven’t been about much really, lifes been busy!

So the blog is looking a little sparse to say the least – however a little injection of light has arisen in the form of my online interview with Silja, the creative genius and general all-round nice person over at 5Erg.

Me being the person interviewed by the way, with some rather colourful questions too!

Neil from Studio2i

Graphic designer with great communication and a lots of ideas – meet Neil from UK. Do check out their blog https://studio2i.wordpress.com/ and DeviantArt gallery: http://loslobas.deviantart.com/.

My holiday banner is from him. The fun thing is, I didn’t made any requests and the result was really great and individual! Blue-black and white are Estonian flag colors and the lady with grapes is also from one of my sketches. You can click on it to see the larger view: I did a little interview with him, here is how it went:

Who are you and what do you do? My name is Neil Dawson, my colleagues call me ‘Nellie’ and in the design world I go by the name of ‘Loslobas’! I am a botanist by profession and a designer most other times! I am a mere 36 years of age, definately male the last time I looked and I live in a moderate town close to the East coast of England, Ipswich. I have 2 kids (2) and (5) years of age that keep me busy! I love all kinds of music but at the top of my playlist currently is ‘The Feeling’ and ‘Lily Allen’, I really fancy Lily! lol. I don’t really read much, preferring my literacy intake from the internet, radio or television. I have a dog, a cat, a rat, a fish and a hamster, they get on really well! My fave food is hot & spicy Dominos pizza, washed down with a can of Dr.Pepper!
Why? Indeed, um… why what? lol

What did you do 10 years ago on this day?
Um, let me count… I would have been living in Wales in a cottage on a working farm!

What do you think about global whining?
I assume global ‘warming’, well too little too late by the world governments in my opinion.

What do you like?
I like warm summer days, walking through fields with a bright blue sky listening to the birds 🙂

What do you don’t like? The winter! hah, cold, grey, miserable weather… and we get lots of it!
Where do babies come from? Well, from lots of really nice fun that mummys & daddys do when the moon comes out 🙂

If you could hold one charity event, for what would it be? It would be for Cancer Research, and I’d like to walk the circumference of the UK.

Pants or a skirt? Pants, is that international for ‘trousers’? lol.. pants it is!

Tell us about your creative process. Its the ‘bolt of lightning’ variety, I get hit by an idea then I just can’t stop evolving it.

What is the hardest part of having a creative job? Keeping ideas fresh and not getting bored by a particular project by spending too much time on it.

Where do you find your ideas and inspiration? The squidgy matter that resides somewhere between my eyes, on occasions. lol

Dogs or cats? I have both so… um, dogs I think.

What is what you haven’t done yet but would like to do? I want to travel to Japan.

How do you gain courage when something needs to be dealt with? I hold my breath and count to 5.

What is your advice to a seller, shop keeper or blogger? Variety, keep the buyers happy by giving them many choices.

Would you like to add something? Um, well this is the first interview for quite sometime, I enjoyed it and thank you!! Stay Happy 🙂
